On Tuesday, September 9 at 8 PM Eastern Time, Dr. Michelle Sandberg sat down with Dr. Brian H. Williams for a beautifully moderated conversation. Clinicians and Firearms is a curriculum developed by medical students, faculty, and practicing clinicians to bridge the gap in medical education to address gun violence as a public health epidemic.

This self-paced course is divided into four modules:

• Firearm Epidemiology

• Firearm Basics

• Providers

• Firearms and Resources for Clinicians. This course is intended primarily for medical students, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to understand the current state of gun violence in the United States, basic firearm terminology, and what we can do in the healthcare setting to prevent firearm injury for our patients.
