SAFE Chapter at Texas A&M University School of Medicine gets resolution passed!

The student-led SAFE chapter at Texas A&M is proud to have sponsored a gun safety in medical education resolution that the Texas Medical Association (TMA) student section proposed at the TexMed26 (annual meeting of the TMA). The TMA vote to adopt the student-driven resolution!

Congratulations to medical students Uma Reddy, Emilia Coffey, Emma Russell, Michael Shearer, Jerry Liu, Sunitha Konatham, Soneet Kapadia from Texas A&M Naresh K Vashisht College of Medicine and UT Health Sciences Center San Antonio.

SAFE will soon share with all chapters the steps The Texas A&M SAFE Chapter took to accomplish this, to inspire other chapters around the country.
