SAFE has hosted in-person workshops to collaborate on developing medical school curriculum related to firearm injury prevention.

Workshop Goals:

• To share each medical school team's current state of Firearm Injury Prevention (FIP) curriculum at their respective institutions. 

• Solidify a list of core competencies to be addressed in FIP curricula.  

• Collaborate to design curriculum that can meet the needs of our unique schools.

• Create and maintain a community of practice around FIP instruction to innovate, support and disseminate curriculum.
